The Mableton2045 Comprehensive Planning process will follow guidelines established by the Department of Community Affairs (DCA) to ensure thoughtful, coordinated, and strategic community development. The process includes a robust public engagement phase to gather input from residents and stakeholders. In addition to the robust public engagement, the planning team will assess the city’s current conditions and trends in areas such as land use, housing, transportation, and economic development. Based on this assessment, the planning team sets long-term goals and policies to guide future growth in a manner that reflects the vision of the community.
